Easter is meaningless without the sacrifice that preceded it on Good Friday. Come join us for this special service as we remember the death of Jesus Christ that brought life and salvation.
As we gather to remember the cross our time will be structured around a framework to help us focus on Christ. This will include Scripture reading, singing, praying and finally gathering around the Lord’s table.
As our service begins, we look to the preeminence of Jesus so that we better understand what took place in his taking on flesh.
Scripture Reading | Revelation 5, Colossians 1:15-20
We behold the humility of Christ in his humanity.
Scripture Reading | Philippians 2:5-11
We proclaim the death of Christ on his cross.
Scripture Reading | Mark 15:16-39
We respond to the merciful & costly implications of the cross for God's people.
Scripture Reading | Ephesians 2:13-16, Romans 5:6-11
We gather around the Lord’s table to remember.
